How to create and use a building plan?
When a project is ready to be built, we can create a building plan with multiple pages, that give you a complete overview of the projects that needs to be built.
- After creating the structure in the structure mode, save your project and witch to the building plan mode.
- In Building plan mode, start by adding a view by clicking the camera icon
- Then choose one of the following options: add text, retake the image, or add a table (parts list)
- If you add a parts list table, select a frame and click the annotation tool to annotate it
- To annotate connectors (only available if they were calculated in Structure mode and saved), activate Connector selection mode and select the connectors to annotate them
- When the page is complete, make sure to switch on Validate page, otherwise the page may be exported empty
- Click the plus (+) icon on the left to create a new page
- You can choose a blank page or a project-based page
- You can also hide specific groups to focus on selected parts of your project
- Repeat until all pages are created
- Ensure all pages are validated
- Click the download icon to generate your building plan PDF
The file will download immediately and will also be available in your project files.
