What can I do if I already have my bematrix stock uploaded to Rentman?

If you want to update your existing Rentman catalogue with extra details, you can do this by importing a file again.

When you import, make sure you select “Update existing items with new data.”
Then, you’ll need to choose a match column. This is how Rentman knows which items to update. Typically, the best columns to use are:

Code (unique for each item)
Name (in database)
Serial number

The match column should not be the column you are trying to update (e.g., don’t use “Price” if you are updating prices). For example, if you’re updating all prices, select “Code” as your match column.

This way, your data will merge correctly without duplicating items.
