What is the plan2print mode?

In beCAD®’s Plan2print mode, you can add infills to your projects and generate infill plans containing all necessary infill information.

You can create both panel and textile groups by selecting frames and assigning them a type. Once your design is finished, you can generate the export documents.

Plan2print mode is accessible to all beCAD® users, even without an active plan2print subscription or trial. However, certain features such as generating infill plans and viewing unique ID numbers are only available to users with an active plan2print license.

What’s available without a license:

  • Creating groups
  • Adding images or colors to the groups
  • Sharing the project link with customers to give them an idea of what the booth with infills will look like

What is only available to users with a license:

  • Unique ID numbers:

Plan2Print automatically assigns unique ID numbers to groups and panels. These IDs can help streamline your production and installation workflow.

Some customers also choose to include these numbers on the printed infills themselves, making it easier for installers to identify where each panel should be placed in the booth.

  • Export 2D infill plan:
Generate detailed infill plans and additional export documents such as PDF, DWG, and XML files.
