Adding Panels

Now that we have the structural side finished, we can start looking at how we are going to finish our stand.

The Inventor beCAD plugin offers you the ability to automatically place infill panels on the frames that you select. You can select either a single or multiple frames, or whole subassemblies.

When using the Place Panel command, Inventor will create a new subassembly and place the panels according to the matching frames.

After using the command, you can delete the panels that you do not need (for example to top side of a roof, or the inside of a storage).

If you want to you can use the appearances to override the look of your panels from the standard white to any appearance of your choosing. It’s also possible to add decals over one or multiple panels.
