To work efficiently we like to set up our folders to show large thumbnails of the parts that are included in the library. This makes it easier to identify parts not only by their part number, but also how they look.
To do this we need to navigate to a library folder that contains some parts.
- Right-click on some empty space and choose Customize this folder…
- Go to the Customize tab and set the view to Video and click OK
- Right click on some empty space again and choose View → Large Icons
- Again, right click on an empty space and now choose Group by → Type
- Save this view to the Video preset by going to File → Change folder and search options → View tab → Apply to folders →apply and close
- Go back to the main beCAD 2024 folder and right click on an empty space → Customize this folder … → Customize tab → select Video and check Also apply this template to all subfolders
