What is COB technology?

COB stands for 'Chip on Board' and is the latest development in LED beads technology. The LED lamps are mounted on the PCB substrate directely rather than indirectly using an SMD housing. 

COB allows for higher resolution screens with less heat generation thus being more eco-friendly. The technology is very robust and allows for stunning image quality.
